Problem Note 64032: The single-user edition of SAS® Studio 3.8 has some functionality issues with SAS maintenance releases earlier than SAS® 9.4M6 (TS1M6)

The following list documents known problems that occur when you run the single-user edition of SAS Studio 3.8 with a SAS maintenance release that is earlier than SAS 9.4M6:
- Git functionality is available in SAS Studio 3.8. However, Git integration functions correctly only with SAS 9.4M6.
- A complete list of SAS® Viya® tasks and snippets is always displayed. However, some tasks and snippets cannot be used in maintenance releases that are earlier than SAS® 9.4M5 (TS1M5). Integration with SAS® Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) is unavailable in those earlier releases.
- Autocomplete text includes options and procedures that are not supported prior to SAS 9.4M6.
- Map tasks that use the SGMAP procedure fail in maintenance releases that are earlier than SAS 9.4M5. PROC SGMAP was not available until SAS 9.4M5.
- Some task options are not available for use.
- Tasks that are saved as CTK files are not always compatible with other releases of SAS Studio. If a task is created with SAS Studio 3.8, the CTK file might not open correctly in an earlier SAS Studio release. For example, if you created a task with SAS Studio 3.8 and SAS® 9.4M4 (TS1M4), the CTK file might not work with SAS Studio 3.6 and SAS 9.4M4.
These problems are not experienced when you upgrade your software maintenance release to SAS 9.4M6.
